Pamela K. Butters

May 29, 1949 – January 5, 2026

Wife of retired local pastor Terry D. Butters, Pamela Kaye Butters, 76, of Connellsville, passed away on January 5, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Pamela was born on May 29, 1949, in Dayton, OH, a daughter of the late Richard and Mary Tittle. She was a strong prayer warrior, follower of Jesus, and loved spending time in her prayer room, having devotions and praying through her prayer journal. She was the devoted pastor’s wife for 48 years to the late Terry D. Butters. Pamela’s love for music was shared through her teaching, having been a concert pianist with 73 piano students at one point. She also enjoyed crafts, gardening, crocheting, flowers, baking, and getting her hair and nails done. Pamela was a huge football fan, rooting for the Chicago Bears and Pittsburgh Steelers. She was always up for shopping at Hobby Lobby, sitting by a fire, and so much more. Christmas was her favorite holiday, so much so that her family decided to have a special Christmas celebration early to make sure she got to have Christmas before joining her family in Heaven.

Pamela is survived by three daughters: Tonia Snider and her husband Mike of Champion, OH; Terra Osler and her husband John of South Connellsville; and Tabitha Qualls and her husband Thomas of Dayton, OH; along with seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Pamela was predeceased by two sisters: Cynthia Smith and Deborah Hemmerich.

Tonia, Terra, and Tabitha would like to express their sincere appreciation to their mom’s amazing caregivers, along with Medi Home Health and Hospice.

Friends will be received at Central Fellowship Church, 316 N. Arch St., Connellsville, PA 15425, on Saturday from 11AM to noon, followed by a service with Pastor Mike Martin officiating. Private interment will be held at a later date.
