We want to remind everyone that on January 1, 2025, we switched our dental and vision coverage to Delta Dental. Our vision network remains VSP, but it will be managed by Delta. Similar to MetLife, an ID card is not required. Just inform your provider that your coverage is with Delta Dental. Additionally, you can download a digital ID card app or visit the website to print one.
The coverage amounts remain the same; only the company administering our claims has changed. We made this switch because participants indicated that finding providers who accepted MetLife was challenging. We anticipate that more individuals will successfully locate providers with Delta Dental, and we also expect that if your provider accepts MetLife, they will likely accept Delta as well.
We wanted to share this information again because we have received many calls from individuals who thought their coverage had been terminated. We switched coverage, so you need to inform your provider that you have new insurance through Delta Dental.
