Love Reaching Out 2.0

The Central Bay District is holding a follow-up to the highly-regarded Love Reaching Out event that took place in 2024.  All are welcome to attend Love Reaching Out 2.0 on Saturday, October 18 at Mt. Pleasant First UMC from 9:00 am-2:30 pm to gain further insight into popular topics.

Fresh Expressions Plenary Session:

In a world that is ever changing and evolving, how do we take the message of the gospel into our neighborhoods to connect with people  and then build community with them? The Fresh Expression movement is teaching us just that. Just as Jesus sent out disciples two by two, we are being sent out in the same way. Scriptural focus is  Matthew 10:1-20.

Each person will also choose 2 different breakout sessions to attend:

• Spiritual Grandparenting with Pr. Ray Francis
• AI: How Can It Assist in Ministry? with Rev. Jeff Williams
• How to Give Away Your Faith with Pr. Carmen Cook
• SOUL Circle Grief Care Ministry with Kathy Bell and Pr. Jeremy Wicks
• Sustainable Growth in the UMC with Rev. Ryan Wenburg

Child care will be made available if needs are indicated at registration.  There is no cost to participate in this event, and lunch will be included with your RSVP.  Register now!
