Faith Formation Ministry Professionals Gathering

Join colleagues in faith formation ministry for an engaging in-person gathering at Portage: Chapel Hill UMC on March 10, 2026 from 10am – 3pm.
Intern Counselor, Jason Slingerland, will be leading us in a morning for professional development on Emotional Regulation. We will be practicing ways to regulate our own emotions, as well as learning methods and activities to help kids and youth regulate.
The day will also include time for conversation with peers, a tour of Chapel Hill UMC’s Kids Ministry spaces, and opportunities to exchange resources and ideas. Coffee, tea, and lunch will be provided.
