Central Bay District Spring 2026 Lay Servant Course

Lay Servant Ministries invites you to join us for a class that is based on Thomas Porter’s book, The Spirit and Art of Conflict Transformation – Creating a Culture of JustPeace. Transforming conflict into a positive rather than a negative force is a spiritual pursuit and needs to be grounded in biblical principles: love of God, neighbor, and self. This book is a resource for leaders, ministers, mediators, facilitators, and conflict transformation consultants who want to approach the work in this way.

When:  April 18 and 25, 2026
Time:    9:00 am to 3:00 pm both weeks
Where: Alma UMC

Participants must preregister via email with Janice Buckley before April 4, 2026.

Please bring with you to class the signed request for training form, the textbook, your lunch, and an open mind.
