Active Clergy (serving an appointment of ¾ time or more, even if technically retired)
Medical coverage is provided through Blue Cross Blue Shield. Prescription coverage is offered through Medtipster, with access to Canadian RX. Teledoc is available at any time for treatment of minor illnesses. Dental coverage is provided by Delta Dental, and vision coverage is offered through VSP, administered by Delta Dental.
Retired and Under Age 65 (or with a dependent under age 65)
Medical coverage is provided through Personify Health (formerly HealthComp) using the Cofinity Network. Prescription coverage is available through Medtipster, with access to Canadian RX. Teledoc is available anytime for minor illness treatment. Dental coverage is provided by Delta Dental, and vision coverage is offered through VSP, administered by Delta Dental.
Retired and Age 65 or Older
Coverage includes Medicare along with Part C Medicare (also known as Medicare Advantage) through United Healthcare (UHC). This plan includes Silver Sneakers, hearing coverage, and other great benefits. Prescription drug coverage is provided through Express Scripts. Please note that Canadian RX is not legally available under this plan. UHC also offers telehealth options, including Teledoc. Dental coverage is provided by Delta Dental, and vision coverage is offered through VSP, administered by Delta Dental.
