SUMMARY:2026 Michigan Annual Conference
DESCRIPTION:We are looking forward to gathering with you in late May at the Grand Traverse Resort in Acme Township to worship\, serve\, learn\, share\, and discern together God’s call upon us\, Michigan United Methodists\, to Love Boldly. Guided by the Greatest Commandment (Matthew 22:37-39)\, we invite the Holy Spirit to be at work in us and through us as we love God fully and love our neighbors as ourselves. \nThis is our time\, our moment\, to show that we are Christ’s disciples\, as we have love for one another (John 13:34-35). Throughout Annual Conference\, we will be reminding ourselves and celebrating our identity as United Methodists\, Christians always poised and ready to love boldly in the name of Jesus Christ. \nWe will be highlighting our United Methodist identity is through shared conversations about our Social Principles. This will be an excellent opportunity to reflect upon and gain wisdom in applying these principles in our lives\, churches\, community\, and the world. Come discover how we may love boldly as we daily live in and engage the world around us in the presence of Jesus Christ. \nWhether this is your first time attending annual conference or you’re one of our many returning attendees\, the Commission on the Annual Conference has been praying and preparing to share this time with you. It is our goal that what we experience together\, as we boldly love one another\, will inspire you and your local congregations to be vital expressions of God’s transforming love at work and available to all persons. \nClergy will attend the Clergy Session on Thursday\, May 28\, 2026. The annual conference will take place at the Grand Traverse Resort in Acme MI. It will begin with the opening of the worship and memorial service on Friday\, May 29\, and conclude on Sunday\, May 31. \nVisit the 2026 Annual Conference website for more information!
