SUMMARY:Flamy Grant in Concert
DESCRIPTION:The shame-slaying\, chart-topping drag queen singer/songwriter brings her sparkle to Kalamazoo for a one-of-a-kind concert! Join us at the Wesley Foundation of Kalamazoo\, co-sponsored by Portage Chapel Hill Church and Q Christian Fellowship. \n\n\nPlease purchase one ticket per person. Tickets are pay-what-you-can ($25 suggested donation\, $15 for students). \n\n\n\nConcessions will be available. You may also BYOB\, but alcohol is not permitted. Free parking in lot — please do not park in WMU campus lots. \n\n\n\nDoors Open at 6:30 / Show Starts at 7:00pm \n\n\n\nBear witness to a rhinestoned revival featuring the drag star who has the music world doing a double-take. Flamy Grant takes you into a world where her Appalachian roots meet drag artistry in a storytelling concert unlike any other. \n\n\n\nAfter her history-making debut at #1 on the Christian music charts (yes\, you read that correctly!) and a recent Best Album nomination at the 2026 International Folk Music Awards\, Flamy Grant is bringing a show that’s equal parts sanctuary and spectacle to small towns across the midwest. This isn’t your average singer-songwriter with a guitar. Flamy serves award-winning songs\, eye-popping style\, and open-hearted stories in one extraordinary evening that will set your soul ablaze. \n\n\nExpect blistering vocals that soar as high as her wig\, laugh-out-loud anecdotes from a recovering evangelical\, and vivacious energy that only a Billboard-charting drag queen can deliver. Flamy’s is a voice that demands to be heard — and with her pipes\, that’s never going to be a problem.
