Moving beyond the basics of preparing an engaging sermon, participants will be
introduced to several common types of sermons and resources that will enhance their
message. Included are ways to move from communication on paper to good oral
communication in preaching. This class or the “Called to Preach” class is required to
become a Certified Lay Speaker.
