The Coordinator of Children’s Music creates opportunities for our youngest disciples to learn the joy of music and community. From infants to 5th grade, our children will be nurtured in their faith and relationship development through participation in music with their friends and family.
Essential Functions:
Ensures effective direction for all children’s musical ensembles, including a Music Leader and a Devotion/ Activities Leader.
Ensure volunteers have needed resources and supplies
Partner with the Coordinator of Family Ministries to plan and implement our mid week program (currently Holy COW), including meals and volunteer appreciation.
Communicates regularly with the Director of CYF and volunteer staff
Creates a Missional spirit within our program by providing opportunities for children to share their gifts with the community.
Collaborate with Worship and Arts Director on children’s opportunities for worship leadership
Member of leadership team for annual Choir Camp
Time Requirements:
Wednesdays 4 pm- 8 pm
Sunday morning worship when children’s ensembles are participating
Monthly planning meeting with staff team – typically a Wednesday afternoon
Annual Choir Camp week – end of July
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10,000.00 – $11,000.00 per year
