The West Michigan and Detroit Conference United Methodist Women have announced the dates of the 2018 Mission u (formerly School of Christian Mission).

Detroit Mission u has five summer settings:
- One Day at Southfield Hope UMC on July 21;
- H.O.M.E. (Hands on Mission Experience at Lake Huron Retreat Center on August 16;
- One Day at Lake Huron Retreat Center on August 16;
- Two Nights at Lake Huron Retreat Center, August 16-18
- One Night at Lake Huron Retreat Center on August 17-18.
The combined Mission u of the North will be held at Gaylord United Methodist Church, Oct.16-17
The 2018 Mission Studies are Embracing Wholeness (Spiritual Growth); Missionary Conferences of the U.S. (Geographic study); and What about our money? (Issues study).
