Did you know that supermarket chain ALDI has a Community Gift Card Program to support nonprofit organizations, K-12 schools, and Native American tribes/nations in the communities where ALDI stores are located?

Did you know Foot Locker grants funds to support youth development programs?

Did you know Huntington Bank has a philanthropy program that supports organizations that address affordable housing for low- and moderate-income individuals and families?

The Michigan Conference’s Connectional Ministries Team is offering church and non-profit leaders an opportunity to learn more about grants. The free online event, Holy Grants, will be held on Thursday, October 10, from 9:30 to 11 am Eastern.

The workshop will include an overview of the theology of fundraising, the basics of writing a grant to support ministry, mission, and programs, and where to find grants.

Following the workshops, churches and non-profits can receive regular e-blasts with grant opportunities, future workshops, support in their grant work, and reminders to check out the grant page on the Michigan Conference website.

The Connectional Ministries Team hopes to grow a network of grant writers and support churches and non-profits in accessing grant funds for vital ministries and programs.

Review current grant opportunities by visiting the grant page on the Michigan Conference website. This web page will be updated on a regular basis. Do you have questions? Contact Lisa Batten at [email protected].
